Mathematics is a fundamental part of human thought and logic, and integral to attempts at understanding the world and ourselves. Mathematics provides an effective way of building mental discipline and encourages logical reasoning and mental rigor. The department of mathematics regularly organizes a number of social educational, carrier guidance event. The department of mathematics also provides counseling services to the student appearing NET/ GATE /NBHM/ TIFR/ state PSC/ UPSC.
